Gander Robotics makes hand-throwable autonomous underwater vehicles designed for man-overboard and maritime search and rescue operations used by Navy, Coast Guard, and commercial shipping. The vehicles autonomously locate victims using sonar and object detection, then deploy flotation devices and transmit location signals for recovery.
